MONTREAL ALOUETTES TO FACE WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS IN 110TH GREY CUP

HAMILTON (NOV. 11) - It’s down to the final two.

The Montreal Alouettes will face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 110th Grey Cup at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton.

The Alouettes advanced to the Grey Cup after a stunning upset over the top-ranked Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Final before a near-capacity crowd at BMO Field in Toronto. Montreal, which had won five games in a row heading into the Eastern Final, forced and capitalized on 10 Argonauts turnovers to take an early lead that would never be challenged.

Later Saturday in the Western Final, the Blue Bombers advanced to a remarkable fourth-straight Grey Cup appearance - only the second team in CFL history to achieve the feat - after defeating the British Columbia Lions at Winnipeg's IG Field in a strong defensive performance. Winnipeg will be going for its third Grey Cup championship in the last four attempts.

As the two teams get ready to head to Hamilton, the organizing committee of the 110th Grey Cup and 2023 Grey Cup Festival looks forward to welcoming to Hamilton fans from Winnipeg, Montreal and all across Canada.
