MONSTER LINEUP ANNOUNCED - TRIO OF CANADIAN TALENT TO PERFORM ON 110TH GREY CUP GAME DAY

HAMILTON (Oct. 23) - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the 2023 Grey Cup Festival announced on Monday that Juno Award-winning rock band Monster Truck will take the spotlight as the headlining act for the Neighbourhood Block Party on Sunday, November 19 at Tim Hortons Field.
“After delivering a show-stopping halftime performance at the Labour Day Classic in 2018, we feel like honorary team members. We’ve all bled black and gold our whole lives, and quite honestly, we wouldn’t have tolerated being excluded from the party. Get ready for the hits because we’re playing all of them,” said Brandon Bliss of Monster Truck.
The Hamilton natives, alongside Boy Golden and Born In The Eighties, collectively form an impressive lineup for the Neighbourhood Block Party. This event is free to attend for any fans holding a ticket to the 110th Grey Cup game. The festivities kick off at 2 p.m., with the trio of Canadian acts set to rock the south plaza at Tim Hortons Field, keeping fans entertained until just before kickoff. It's the ideal tailgate party to kick off the big game.
This announcement adds to a series of significant updates from the Ticats and the Grey Cup Festival. Carrie Underwood was previously unveiled as the Friday night headliner, featuring the opening act Brian Kelley, at FirstOntario Centre on Friday, November 17. Additionally, it was previously disclosed that over 40 Canadian bands will perform free concerts on James Street in downtown Hamilton from November 16 to 18.
Expect more exciting news in the coming days as the city and region gear up to host Canada's most significant celebration, including the 110th Grey Cup game, the Championship of the Canadian Football League, at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday, November 19th, where global punk-rock superstars Green Day will take center stage as they headline the Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show.
