GREY CUP FESTIVAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE PARTICIPATES IN SUPERCRAWL

HAMILTON (Sept. 11) – The 110th Grey Cup and 2023 Grey Cup Festival organizing committee participated in Supercrawl, Hamilton’s iconic annual arts and indie music festival, during the weekend of Sept. 8 to 10.
Members on the committee answered questions and shared information with attendees. Many of them also entered a contest to win two tickets to the 110th Grey Cup.
The 2023 Grey Cup Festival booth was just mere feet away from James Street and John Weir Foote Armoury, which will be the sites of the James Street experience and the Canadian Armed Forces Fan Zone, respectively – two of the Festival’s marquee events.
Both events, running Nov. 16 to 18, will be free and serve as the Festival’s epicentre, featuring live music, football activities, art, street performers vendors, and great food and beverages.
From art and live music to unique food and shopping, Supercrawl was a preview of what the James Street experience – part of Fan Central – will look like during the 2023 Grey Cup Festival.
Sonic Unyon – organizers of Supercrawl – will be collaborating with the committee to stage the James Street experience as part of the Festival. The Festival’s essence is partnering with community organizations that are contributing to building the new Hamilton, and Sonic Unyon is a best-in-class organization that will create a Festival that is #BuiltInTheHammer.
To close Supercrawl on Sunday, members of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Dance and Cheer Team and the Grey Cup trophy made an appearance, with the latter drawing hundreds of people to take photos.
