HAMILTON (Sept. 6, 2023) – The 2023 Grey Cup Festival announced a partnership today, making WeatherTech a signature partner of the Festival and presenting partner of the Hamilton Santa Claus and Grey Cup Parade.

The key fixture of the partnership sees WeatherTech as the presenting partner of one of the Festival’s most exciting events, the Hamilton Santa Claus and Grey Cup Parade.

The Hamilton Santa Claus and Grey Cup Parade will be an expanded version of the Hamilton Santa Claus Parade, where the parade will begin with CFL-inspired floats, cheer squads, alumni and even the Grey Cup trophy itself. The parade is set to take place on Saturday, November 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. EST as it tours around Fan Central on James Street North. The parade will begin on Bay Street North and Barton Street West, continue east on Barton to John Street, continuing south on John to Wilson Street, heading west on Wilson to York Boulevard & Hess Street North, where the parade will end at Hess and Cannon Street West. In addition, WeatherTech branding will be present across all 2023 Grey Cup Festival events and, the primary hub for 2023 Grey Cup Festival information.

About 2023 Grey Cup Festival

The 2023 Grey Cup Festival will celebrate the 110th Grey Cup in Hamilton and include over 40 events that promise to captivate football fans, music lovers, athletes, and families alike. It will feature events organized by various community organizations, such as Sonic Unyon (Supercrawl), Around the Bay and Hamilton Santa Claus Parade, among others that are contributing to building a contemporary Hamilton – making the Festival truly Built in the Hammer. 

Centralized in Downtown Hamilton, the Festival’s venues and events will be located in a compact footprint that will ensure walkability and accessibility for everyone. Quintessentially Hamilton, the Festival also includes two events in Niagara Falls making the 110th Grey Cup the first in the event’s history to be regional.
