HSR Game-Day Shuttle Service

Hamilton Street Railway will be providing a shuttle bus service for the 110th Grey Cup on Nov. 19.  

BLACK LINE
First Pick Up: 1:58 pm | Buses every 20 minutes
For service to and from: Confederation Walmart, Confederation GO, Eastgate Square, Tim Hortons Field
Locations Serviced along Black Line:
*   Sandman Hotel - Confederation Walmart - Platform #2
*   Four Points by Sheraton - Confederation GO Platform #4
*   Comfort Inn - Centennial Parkway at Eastgate Crt.
*   Eastgate Square Terminal - Platform #7, north side of Queenston, west of the east entrance to the terminal (existing route #10 westbound bus stop)

GOLD LINE
First Pick Up: 2:00 pm | Buses every 15 minutes
For service to and from: Upper James @ South Linc, Lime Ridge Mall, Tim Hortons Field
Locations Serviced along Gold Line:
*   TownePlace Suites by Marriott Hamilton - Upper James South of Linc (existing stop in front of Shoeless Joe’s)
*   Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton - Upper James South of Linc (existing stop in front of Shoeless Joe’s)
*   North side of Lime Ridge Mall, east of the pedestrian crosswalk, beside “Park N’ Ride” parking
*   C Hotel by Carmen’s  - Take HSR Bus 43 Meadowlands from Stone Church Rd. E & Arbour Rd (northeast corner) to CF Limeridge Mall and connect to the shuttle.

RED LINE
First Pick Up: 2:00 pm | Buses every 20 minutes
For service to and from: University Plaza, Main at McNabb, Tim Hortons Field
Locations Serviced along Red Line:
*   University Plaza - Platform #1
*   Main at Emerson - south side of Main Street, west of Emerson Street
*   Main opposite Macklin - south side of Main Street, west of Macklin Street
*   Main at MacNab - south side of Main Street, opposite Frank A. Cooke Terminal, route #10 stop
*   Visitor’s Inn - Main opposite Macklin (existing stop across from Main Street West Urgent Care Centre)

WHITE LINE
First Pick Up: 1:58 pm | Buses every 15 minutes
For service to and from: King at James, King at Bay, Main at McNabb, Tim Hortons Field
Locations Serviced along White Line:
*   King opposite Frank A. Cooke Terminal - north side of King Street, opposite Frank A. Cooke Terminal, route #10 stop
*   Sheraton Hamilton - King at Bay (existing stop in front of Jackson Square)
*   Staybridge Suites Hamilton - Caroline at George (southwest corner)
*   Homewood Suites by Hilton Hamilton - Caroline at George (southwest corner) or Main at MacNab (existing stop in front of Hamilton Public Library)
*   Main at MacNab - south side of Main Street, opposite Frank A. Cooke Terminal, route #10 stop

City of Hamilton Accessible Transportation Services (ATS) contractor DARTS will provide trips to the Grey Cup from within Hamilton or from approved transfer points for eligible passengers who need access to specialized transit due to physical or functional disability. Approved transfer points are:

  1. Burlington GO Station (for transfers from/ to Burlington Specialized Transit or connections to GO Transit)    

  2. Aldershot GO Station (for transfers from/ to Burlington Specialized Transit or connections to GO Transit)    

  3. Tim Horton’s at 1242 Highway 8, Winona (for transfers from/to Niagara Specialized Transit)

 

DARTS will be dropping off and picking up registered Accessible Transportation Services customers to and from Gate 1A, Gate 2A, and Gate 3.

 

If you are a visitor staying in Hamilton for the game who is already eligible for specialized transit in your own town or city, you do not need to complete an application for Hamilton ATS service. Just have your specialized transit provider contact Hamilton Accessible Transportation Services ahead of game day at ats@hamilton.ca or 905-529-1212, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This will confirm your eligibility for specialized transit so you will be able to easily book your trip to the game. To book your specialized transit trip, call DARTS a maximum of 7 days ahead at 905-529-1717.
