When does the 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw take place?
The 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw will kick-off on the evening of Wednesday, November 20 and run through to game time on Sunday, November 24 in Calgary, Alberta.

Where will the 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw be held?
The majority of the Festival events will be held at Stampede Park, November 20 – 23. Check out the Events section for location and times for each individual event.

How do I get to the 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw?
Stampede Park is conveniently located just southeast of downtown Calgary. The C-Train is your best and quickest option. Board the Bridlewood Line from downtown and get off at the Victoria Park / Stampede stop. The FREE fare zone has been extended from downtown to Stampede Park, November 20 – 23. Limited, paid parking will be available on Stampede Park which can be accessed via two main entrances: Olympic Way or 14th Avenue SE.

How can I get tickets to the 107th Grey Cup Championship Game?
Tickets to the 107th Grey Cup game are available via Ticketmaster.ca/GreyCup or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-855-985-5000 OR the Calgary Stampeders Ticket Office at 403-289-0258.

A valid ticket is required for entry. Entry will not be granted with the presentation of only a ticket confirmation.

Do I need a ticket for my child if they are sitting in my lap?
Yes, all children require a ticket and their own seat.

In addition to the football game, what else is happening at McMahon Stadium on November 24?
Sunday events will be happening in the East parking lots of McMahon Stadium.

The FREE Fan Zone will be located on the NE corner. The Outdoor Tailgate will be located on the SE corner. Tickets are required. Both venues are all ages.

“Fusion: Music + Grey Cup” Indoor Tailgate powered by CP opens at noon and continues until 12 am. Tickets are required / 18+

Will I be able to use Wifi at the game?

How do I get to McMahon Stadium for the 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw?
We strongly recommend fans take advantage of public transit on November 24. McMahon Stadium and is easily accessible via public transit (bus) and the close-by Banff Trail C-Train station.

There is NO public parking onsite on November 24th.

To accommodate traffic around McMahon Stadium on game day, some roadway and parking restrictions will be in effect (see Getting to the Stadium below).

Where can I buy Grey Cup merchandise?
Grey Cup merchandise will be available at Stampede Park during the 2019 Grey Cup Festival, Nov 20 – 23 in Lot 3 and in the Exhibitors Lounge of the BMO Centre.

The Stamps Team Store on the East side of the McMahon Stadium is open during regular business hours. On game day, merchandise will also be available on site in various pop up merchandise shops located throughout the concourse area of the venue, and will remain open 30 minutes after the end of the game.

What is the schedule for Grey Cup day?
9:00 AM – Ticket box office & Will Call opens (east side of McMahon)
12:00 PM – Tailgate parties open (see below for more information)
2:00 PM – Stadium gates open
4:00 PM – The Outdoor Tailgate and Fan Zone close
4:00 PM – SiriusXM Kickoff Show featuring The Beaches followed by the kick-off of the 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw
8:00 PM – Game ends (approximately). Grey Cup trophy presentations immediately following the game
12:00 AM – The Fusion Indoor Tailgate closes

How can I travel to Calgary to attend the 2019 Grey Cup presented by Shaw?
All online ticket/hotel packages are independent of the Grey Cup Festival and Calgary Stampeders, and are purchased at your own risk. Be sure to call each hotel directly before making any purchases online. You can check out Tourism Calgary for more information

Is it better to stay downtown or out near McMahon Stadium?
Calgary has great hotel options in downtown and close to McMahon Stadium. Both easily accessed by the C-Train. Downtown is more convenient for getting to Stampede Park for the four-day Festival and gives you Calgary’s best options for dining, shopping, entertainment and culture. GENERAL INFORMATION
To ensure the best possible fan experience for all our guests, please familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures for McMahon Stadium during Grey Cup.

Stadium Re-Entry
Please note that guest will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the Stadium during the event.

Will Call Ticket Booth
Southeast corner of McMahon Stadium between the Stamps Store and Ticket Office, customers must present photo ID.

Customer Service and Ticketing
Customer service attendants are available outside of all Gates. Ticketing issues can be addressed at any Gate Ticket Box Office.

ATMs
For your convenience there are ATMs located throughout the concourse.

Stadium Concessions
A wide range of food and beverage options are available for purchase once inside the stadium. Concessions open at 2:00 PM and accept cash, debit and credit card.

First Aid
First Aid stations are located under sections J (west concourse) and N (east concourse. St John Ambulance attendants provide first aid through McMahon Stadium and attendants can be found on both concourses. Qualified paramedics and medical support staff will also available.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
AED units are located in the Stadium at our Medical rooms at the Northeast and Southeast corners of McMahon Stadium. Medical personnel will be on site to assist with any injuries or emergencies.

Lost Persons
If a guest has become separated from his or her party, individuals looking for the lost guest should be escorted directly to an information booth located on the Main Concourse of McMahon Stadium. A guest services representative can assist you.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items can be turned in to the McMahon Stadium Main Ticket Office located on the East side of the stadium. Any guest looking for a lost item can check the Ticket Office for if it has been turned in. Please call 403-289-0258 during regular business hours for Lost and Found after game day.

Entrances at McMahon Stadium
ARRIVE EARLY TO THE STADIUM, Stadium Gates will open at 2:00 PM. All Stadium Entry Gates will be very busy and will include security screening measures and ticket validation. Fans are reminded to plan ahead, arrive early, and enter through the Gate indicated on your ticket, so that all fans can get to their seats and enjoy all the exciting action on the field and in the Stadium.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: You must enter through your assigned gate. You will not be permitted to enter through another gate.

Weather Policy
The game will continue regardless of cold or snowy weather. Come prepared for the weather as McMahon Stadium is an outdoor stadium.

What happens if I lost my ticket?

GETTING TO THE STADIUM
There is NO public parking on site at McMahon Stadium. Public transportation is strongly encouraged.

Road Closures
The following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic Sunday, November 24 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM:
• University Drive NW will be closed to traffic between 16 Avenue NW and 24 Avenue NW
• Crowchild Trail NW will have restricted lanes and a 50 km/h speed restriction between 16 Avenue NW and 24 Avenue NW
• There will be no access to northbound Crowchild Trail NW from 16 Avenue NW
• Banff Trail NW will be closed at the Banff Trail C-Train Station
• 23 Avenue NW will be closed at 24 Street NW
• Watch for police directing traffic and a large volume of pedestrians in the area

Parking Restrictions
Residential parking restrictions will be in effect in neighbourhoods around McMahon Stadium.

Accessible Drop-Off
The Accessible drop-off will be located at the Northeast corner of McMahon Stadium outside of gate 4. Entry to this drop-off point will be available through the Northeast McMahon Stadium parking lot entrance off Crowchild Trail South.

Accessible Entrance
Accessible seating can be accessed through either gate 4 on the East side of McMahon Stadium, or through gate 5 on the West side of McMahon Stadium.

VIP and Red & White Club Parking
VIP and Red & White Club Parking will be located on the Northwest side of McMahon stadium. Access to this lot will be off of University Drive on the West side of McMahon Stadium.

Off Site Parking
Limited space will be available at the University of Calgary.

IMPORTANT MCMAHON STADIUM INFORMATION

Security Measures at McMahon Stadium
McMahon Stadium’s top priority is to provide safe and enjoyable, world class experiences for all fans and guests during events. All guests entering the stadium are subject to mandatory bag search, random individual pat downs, additional security screening and may be subject to physical search. Anyone who declines the security screening may be denied entry or ejected from McMahon Stadium.

All bags that are brought into the stadium are subject to inspection upon entry and are subject to additional inspections within the stadium. Please have your bag open ready for inspection before entering the Gates. Plan ahead; arrive early to ensure a smooth entry into the Stadium for everyone.

Prohibited Items at McMahon Stadium
Anyone possessing any of these items may be denied entry or subject to removal. Anyone that may be denied entry or removed for any violation will not be issued a refund.
For the safety and security of all McMahon Stadium guests and employees, the following items are not permitted at McMahon Stadium:
• Weapons of any kind
• Glass bottles, pop or beer cans and plastic bottles over one liter
• Outside alcoholic beverages
• Cannabis
• Drugs/narcotics
• Illegal substances
• Professional video cameras and recording devices
• Go-Pros, SLRs with lens, selfie sticks, and video recording devices are not permitted
• Professional grade cameras and tripods
• Pets (service animals permitted)
• Air horns, megaphones and whistles?
• Laser pointers/pens
• Beach balls
• Coolers
• Rods, dowels and hockey sticks
• Signs on poles or sticks or constructed of wood or metal material
• Any other items to be dangerous or inappropriate

Are backpacks allowed?
Bags small enough to fit under your seat are permitted. All bags will be searched at the gate and guests carrying prohibited items will be denied entry. See above for prohibited items.

Fan Code of Conduct
McMahon Stadium is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests and fans.

For your safety and comfort, guests who interfere with game, use foul language, make obscene gestures, smoke, or appear to be impaired, and any other conduct that may be deemed to be inappropriate by Stadium Security, may be subject to eviction from the Stadium and the Grey Cup game and possible arrest.
• When you cheer, please do so responsibly.
• Respect stadium staff, guests, and visitors at all times.
• Drink responsibly.
• Sit in your ticketed seat and show ticket upon request.
• Ensure that your clothing, signs and banners are not offensive.
• Ensure you are not blocking another guest’s view of the event.
When you come to the game, we want you to bring the noise for your team!

Can I bring noisemakers? Yes, but please show respect for fellow fans when using noisemakers. Air horns, megaphones and whistles are not permitted. Devices may be confiscated at the discretion of management.

Alcohol Policy
Alcohol may NOT be brought to the stadium.
• A wide range of beverage options are available for purchase inside the stadium
• All guests who appear under the age of 25 will be required to show valid ID to purchase alcohol
• Guests serving alcohol to minors will be subject to arrest
• Guests attempting to bring alcohol into the stadium will be denied entry or removed.
• Any guest that is denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will NOT be issued a refund.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited inside the stadium, including e-cigarettes and cannabis.
• Designated enclosed smoking and vaping areas are located by Gates East 1, 4 & West 6.

Camera Policy
Guest may use personal cameras and cell phones to take photos within the venue; however, cameras with any size of detachable lenses larger than 200mm will NOT be permitted on site.
• Video cameras or video recording devices are NOT permitted at the game.
• Go-Pros are NOT permitted
• SLR cameras are permitted, however, detachable lenses larger than 200mm are NOT permitted on site.
• Please refrain from using flash at any point during the game.

Emergencies/Evacuations
Should there be a need to evacuate the stadium for any reason, a message will be played on the PA system informing all how to proceed. Security, ushers and Calgary Police Services will work to make certain that everyone remains safe and makes their way to the designated areas depending on the severity of the emergency. Spectators will be called back into the stadium (seating) once the emergency has been resolved with the aid of a PA announcement.

I have question or need help during the game. What do I do?
Our Guest Service Attendants are ready and waiting to help! Look for them wearing orange vests and white cowboy hat at the Guest Service Booths on each side of the stadium (East & West). They will have basic first Aid supplies as well as a map of the stadium.
Public relations ambassadors (dressed in red), stadium security (dressed in maroon), gate security (dressed in yellow), ushers (dressed in marron) ticket takers (dressed in red or black) and field security (dressed in black) are employed by The McMahon Stadium Society. Game Day support staff are located at the main entrances to the stadium as well as all entrances to the stadium seating area. They are available to assist you in getting to your seats and to deal with fans who are mistakenly occupying your assigned seats. Stadium security and ushers are supported by members of Calgary Police Service. For further information, please contact McMahon Stadium by calling 403-282-2044.

How do I report an incident from game day?
You can immediately report any problems or concerns by phoning or texting the Fan Security Hotline at 403-975-8830 (only active on game day). We care for you safety. The Fan Security Hotline is anonymous. For larger incidents please complete an incident report form. If a reply is requested, a representative from the Stampeders will contact you regarding your report.
