The Canadian Armed Forces Fan Zone will include a specially constructed 35-yard turf football field, complete with stands and a scoreboard, that will host the Hamilton Flag Football Classic; a multi-day tournament hosted by Football Ontario.
The Hamilton Flag Football Classic is a 3-day, 5-on-5 tournament series that will feature teams representing youth football organizations from all over Southern Ontario. The overtime-style games will be played on a purpose-built 30-yard field inside Hamilton's John W. Foote Armoury, fully outfitted with video board and bleacher seating. Participants will have a chance to meet CFL alumni and experience Fan Central while competing for special Grey Cup Festival prizes including tickets to attend the Grey Cup.
Divisions: U10 Co-Ed (Thursday), U12 Open (Friday), U12 All Girls (Saturday)
Cost: $200 per team
Registration includes a minimum of three games, Grey Cup Festival flags, Grey Cup Festival merch
