On Thursday, Nov. 17, see what esports is all about before the competition kicks off on Friday. Local crews will battle it out and demonstrate the world of esports to school-aged kids visiting Grey Cup Festival.
Working with SKL Esports, the Path to Glory tournament will take place Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 in the Brandt Centre at REAL District. With plenty of large screens and seating available, Festival goers will get to experience over 200 professional players from across the nation coming together to face off in the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament. Sponsored events across the country throughout the summer and fall led up to the tournament Grey Cup Festival. The best Canadian players from these events compete in the Path to Glory tournament for Canada’s largest-ever $50,000 prize pool for the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate game!
