Years of planning and months of great Canadian football all come down to one great Grey Cup Sunday in the Heartland!

The 109 Grey Cup between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts kicks off at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan at 5 p.m. local time.

While these two teams last met in the CFL’s championship game in 1950, fans will party like it’s 2022 at the great events leading up to kickoff!

Whether you’re cheering on your team – or just in it for the party – here’s how to Make the Most of Grey Cup Sunday:

 

Know before you go

Avoid surprises by being game-day ready before heading to the free and ticketed events around Mosaic Stadium on Sunday.

Rules around what you can bring into the game, even the type of bag, will be in effect for the 109 Grey Cup. Find out all you need to know here.

Transportation will also be an important consideration for the game. Plan your ride to and from the area using the same free shuttle services provided during the 2022 Grey Cup Festival!

Celebrate how much you love Canadian football at the free, all-ages CFL Fan Zone hosted outside Gate 3 at Mosaic Stadium from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Join in the fun with contests, football-themed activities and free giveaways from league sponsors!

 

Dye & Durham Indoor Tailgate

Noon to 5:00 p.m. | Viterra International Trade Centre | TICKETED

Get pumped up for the big game with the Hunter Brothers at the Dye & Durham Indoor Tailgate! 

Real-life brothers J.J., Dusty, Luke, Brock and Ty – who hail from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan – will get you into the Grey Cup spirit with this rocking pre-game party at the Viterra International Trade Centre.

Make sure to wear your team colours and enjoy great food and a unique camaraderie only this league can bring. The indoor tailgate is for all ages.

Tickets are still available for this highly-anticipated event! Saskatchewan Roughrider season ticket holders should check their email for a special offer.

 

Capital Auto Outdoor Tailgate

Noon – 5 p.m. | Confederation Park | FREE for Grey Cup ticket holders, All Ages

CFL fans will unite for this traditional outdoor tailgate party in Confederation Park, just outside Mosaic Stadium,  from noon until kickoff!

The Capital Auto Outdoor Tailgate offers live entertainment and outdoor fireplaces, along with food and beverage options, to help get you warmed up for the 109 Grey Cup.

Canadian rock group Toque – whose members all, at one time, played with Slash – will headline this outdoor party.The band’s upbeat Canadian rock covers will get the crowd moving with a set list that includes hits from Loverboy, Alanis Morissette, Tom Cochrane and more.

Saskatchewan’s own The Steadies will open for Toque with their ‘island rock’ style music, which the band describes as Top 40 mixed with rocksteady and reggae influences.

 

The 109th Grey Cup Championship Game

5:00 p.m. kickoff | Mosaic Stadium | TICKETED, all ages, SOLD OUT

All of the fun brings us to the biggest CFL celebration of all: the 109 Grey Cup.

The league’s sold-out championship game between the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicks off inside Mosaic Stadium at 5:00 p.m.

The Canadian Football League will welcome country stars Jordan Davis, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, and Canada’s own Josh Ross to the stage for a great halftime show!

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO – 109th GREY CUP EDITION

And then there was two. The Eastern Champions Toronto Argonauts face the Western Champions and back-to-back Grey Cup winners the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the final game of the season. Gates open at 3:30PM and kickoff is scheduled for 5:00PM

Capital Auto Outdoor Tailgate

Starting at noon and going until 5:00PM, this traditional tailgate is here to put you in the Grey Cup spirit! Featuring performances by Canadian rockers Toque and Saskatchewan’s own, The Steadies, this outdoor event offers food, beverages, warming stations and fellow CFL fans all celebrating together. This event is free for anyone with a Grey Cup game ticket.

Dye & Durham Indoor Tailgate Party

Running at the same time as the Outdoor Tailgate (noon – 5:00PM), the indoor tailgate offers something different compared to tradition. Saskatchewan’s very own, the Hunter Brothers and Country music artist, Sacha get the party started as they join thousands of CFL fans to enjoy an afternoon filled with live entertainment and great food. Taking place in the Viterra International Trade Centre, this indoor party is sure to get you ready for the big game! This event costs $104.00 and ticket can still be purchased here.

Parking & Transportation

On game day, free shuttles run every 30 minutes from 11:00AM. to 3:00PM. and then continuously until 6:00PM. Buses will start leaving Mosaic Stadium in the 4th quarter, with the last bus departing one hour after the game ends.

Shuttle pickup locations include:

  • Southland Mall (free park and ride option)
  • University of Regina (free park and ride option)
  • Two stops in Regina Downtown
  • Four stops in the Warehouse District (free park and ride option)
  • 27 Regina hotels

Parking on game day will be $35 and will be a fist come first serve basis. Access to game day parking will be available via the Lewvan entrance in the REAL District.

Clear Bag Policy

Each fan, including children, can bring in one clear bag sized 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller. Large purses, backpacks and camera bags are prohibited. More details on the clear bag policy can be found here.

Dressing Appropriately

With temperatures sure to be below 0 degrees on gameday, please dress appropriately. Layer up, wear a toque, and prepare to face cold winds and potential snow.

Gate Opening Time

Gates open at 3:30PM with Kickoff at 5PM.

Harvard Lounge Offline

Access to the Harvard Lounge (located on the west side of the stadium) will not be available during the Grey Cup.

Warming Tent on East Side

Fans looking for a place to shelter from the cold and warm up during the game are in luck as a warming tent will be in place on the east side of the stadium.

*Please note there is limited capacity within the tent.

2022 Grey Cup 50/50 Presented by ISC

Tickets for the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Grey Cup 50/50 are available for purchase until the end of the 4th quarter of the Grey Cup game! With the jackpot guaranteed to be a minimum of $500,000, you don’t want to miss out! Tickets can be purchased at the game or online.
